One fact I like most about London are all its amazing brunch spots across town. There’s literally nothing that feels more like a lazy weekend than starting it with a long, delicious brunch. Thanks to many Aussie making their ways to London, there are so many great places offering a range of healthy, fresh and seasonal driven menus and the best coffees! I love having a few regular places I tend to visit over and over again, like the Italian Garden Café in Hyde Park or Granger’s in Notting Hill, but I’m all about daring to try a new place like Brown & Rosie, which I spotted on Instagram. Turns out it’s yet another great Australian foodie place in London, which I tried together with my dear friend Annika yesterday.
Sat on Exhibition Road in South Kensington it’s the perfect place to fuel up for a busy day around town. Multiple museums – some of my favorites like the V&A or the Natural History Museum – are located around here. Old Brompton Road, the home of the famous Harrods, is just a short walk away, similar to Sloane Square & King’s Road. Yesterday felt like a the first proper Spring day: the sun was shining and we were able to have our breakfast outside. The menu offers a range of all of our favorites: avocado toasts, Acaí bowls, homemade granola and fresh smoothies along with a variety of pastries and the finest selection of coffees. We both chose the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and I also had a strong flat white while Annika had a Matcha latte, which literally transformed us to a place that made me wonder if this how weekends during summer in Australia feel like…? If you want to escape, feel like an Aussie, make sure to check Brown & Rosie out yourself. I’ll definitely can recommend it, even if you just stop by for a coffee and some people watching!
